Management (VCM) is a powerful computer-telephone integration tool that
delivers live call handling, voice mailbox control, and sophisticated
message management conveniently from the desktop.
As callers
identify themselves either through a recorded voice announcement or through
VCM screen pops, you determine how to handle your calls. If accepting
the call is not a priority, choose from a list of several personalized
greetings to customize how your callers are greeted. Or, from your company's
list of extensions on your screen, choose to forward callers to others
who are better able to handle calls.
Through
VCM, mailbox functions such as creating, assigning, and activating greetings
are easily implemented. And voice messages and faxes are visually accessible
in a single screen. By double clicking on voice messages and faxes they
are conveniently heard or seen. Rerouting voice and fax messages through
the network becomes commonplace. And documents created in any Windows-based
applications can be transmitted as faxes without ever leaving your desk.
